  • There is DNA of an unknown male found in 3 places, on JB’s body/clothing from touch and from saliva.
  • There’s a metal fragment under JB’s fingernails that could not be matched to anything.
  • There are 2 kinds of animal fur, one beaver, one unknown, that could not be matched to anything in the home.
  • There’s duct tape, a kind that had only begun to be manufactured in November 1996, that did not match the tape in the Ramsey home.
  • There’s a footprint, a palm print, and another footprint.
  • There’s red fibers that, although acrylic, were not from Patsy’s jacket since it was red, black, and grey.
  • There are the cigarette butts, the metal baseball bat, the climbing rope, the cord used for the ligature that could not be matched to anything in the home.
  • There are marks from a stun gun found on JonBenet.
  • There is staging: the Bible, the dictionary, the Esprit article, the naked life-size doll posed in the playroom window and, of course, the ransom note.
  • There is the butt print, the print on top of the basement toilet, the canvas bag in the crawl space, the scratch marks on the elevator door.
  • There’s the blond young man, the mysterious lights seen in the kitchen, and the light that was always on but for the first time it wasn’t.
  • And the Ransom Note.
